Step into the shoes of an astronaut!
A beautiful expo where you can discover all aspects of space travel. You really step into the shoes of an astronaut, and besides a museum section, there are various attractions set up where you experience what an astronaut experiences. In a space hub, you can see if you have the skills required to become an astronaut. During a space tour, you get information about the people who have made it possible for us to know so much about space. In the Mars village, a village on Mars has been recreated, showing what we need to survive on Mars.
Marswalk and Moonwalk XP: Here, you are strapped into a kind of bungee cord so you can experience what it is like to move relatively weightlessly. In the freefall slide, you go down an 8-meter high (fairly steep) slide to give you the feeling of weightlessness. In the spaceflight units, you can fly on a mission over Mars or the Moon and see various details of the planet. In the Space Rotor, you are spun around to experience the g-forces astronauts are exposed to. During the space show 3D, you wear 3D glasses, making it feel like you are walking on a planet yourself. In the planetarium, a film plays all around you, giving you impressions from all directions. Lastly, there is a Cosmic Valley where you get information (outdoors) about communication and transport means used during space travel. All in all, there is plenty to see and do if you want to be immersed in the world of space travel.
